What Age Care Labs does

Age Care Labs runs an integrated senior care platform in India through Emoha and Epoch Elder Care. The company said the new funds will be used to expand its services, invest in technology and healthcare capabilities, and grow across India.

Saumyajit Roy, co-founder and chief executive of Emoha, said: "At Emoha, our mission has always been to help seniors age with dignity, independence, and joy."

The reports do not state the company's headquarters, founding year, headcount or earlier funding.

Shremoha

Alongside the funding, Shrem Group and Age Care Labs formed Shremoha, a premium senior independent living platform. Entrepreneur India says it will offer residences, wellness, preventive healthcare and emergency response.

Nitan Chhatwal, founder and managing director of Shrem Group, said: "The next generation of seniors is independent, aspirational, and focused on quality of life." Indian Retailer quotes him saying seniors do not want to withdraw from life.

The partnership is described separately from the equity investment, although Shrem Group is also among the investors in the Series B1.

Advisers and the wider raise

Cap Connect was the financial advisor, according to both reports. The two outlets give consistent figures for the round and the planned Series B.

The reports do not say whether the ₹250 crore total includes the ₹85 crore already raised.

The ₹85 crore raised now is about a third of the planned ₹250 crore Series B. Entrepreneur India says the main round is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2027, and Indian Retailer reports the same timetable. Entrepreneur India also reports that Age Care Labs owns the Emoha and Epoch Elder Care brands and operates an integrated senior care platform, and that Shrem Group and Age Care Labs formed Shremoha as a partnership.

Indian Retailer's report is headed as a funding alert and adds that Shrem Group will work with Emoha on the new platform, and that Cap Connect was exclusive financial advisor on the round and the partnership.

Why elder care

The reports do not give the amount each investor contributed.
