Finfra, an Indonesian company that sells lending infrastructure to banks, lenders and digital platforms, has extended its Series A round with an investment from ADB Ventures. The money came through NextFin Asia, a fund that ADB Ventures runs with partners in Luxembourg.

Existing investors Cento Ventures and Accion Ventures also took part. Neither the amount nor the valuation was disclosed. The Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) announced the deal on 30 October 2026, and DealStreetAsia reported it the same day.

“Our mission is to make lending infrastructure more accessible so that financial institutions can serve more businesses”Markus Prommik, Founder and CEO, Finfra

What Finfra does

Finfra was founded in 2022 and describes itself as a lending-as-a-service platform. Its software, offered through APIs, covers the full life of a loan: origination, automated underwriting, servicing, collections and risk analytics. It also helps clients get access to institutional capital to fund their loans.

According to DealStreetAsia, the platform lets lenders launch credit products without building their own lending operations. Digital platforms can use it to offer loans to their own users, a model known as embedded lending. LHoFT says businesses can build customisable credit products directly into their customers' journeys.

Founder and chief executive Markus Prommik said the company's mission is to make lending infrastructure easier to reach, so that financial institutions can serve more businesses. Neither source gave customer numbers, loan volumes or revenue.

NextFin Asia's first deal

NextFin Asia is run by LHoFT, ADB Ventures and Luxembourg's ministry of foreign affairs and development. It was launched in February 2026 to back early-stage fintech companies in Southeast Asia that work on financial inclusion, according to DealStreetAsia. Finfra is its first investment.

The link goes back two years. Finfra took part in LHoFT's Catapult: Inclusion SE Asia accelerator in 2024. Yichu Zhang, an investment specialist at ADB Ventures, said Finfra is helping to close a gap by making it easier for lenders to launch and scale lending products.

ADB Ventures is the venture arm of the Asian Development Bank and backs technology startups across Asia and the Pacific that can show measurable social, climate and development impact. Cento Ventures is a Southeast Asia-focused venture firm, and Accion Ventures invests in fintech companies that serve underbanked people. LHoFT's announcement also lists ZVC among Finfra's backers.

What the money is for

Finfra said the new money will support growth, strengthen its technology platform and fund expansion into new markets. It did not name the markets.

Prommik said in the announcement that access to credit remains one of the biggest challenges facing small businesses across Southeast Asia. According to LHoFT, Finfra works with Indonesia's Financial Services Authority, the OJK, through an affiliate.

Alex Panican, acting chief executive of LHoFT, described the arrangement behind NextFin Asia, in which a development bank teams up with a fintech accelerator, as a world first. Annabelle Fonteneau, who runs LHoFT's acceleration programmes, called the Finfra deal an early example of acceleration combined with access to capital.
