Flagler Health, a New York company that sells AI software to musculoskeletal (MSK) practices, raised a $50m Series B led by Bessemer Venture Partners, announced on 11 August 2026. The round brings total funding to $63m.

SignalFire, Alumni Ventures, Streamlined Ventures, 186 Ventures, Proof VC, Tribeca Venture Partners and Offscript also invested, according to the company's press release and Dealroom. No valuation was disclosed.

Pulse 2.0 reported the news on 11 August, and the company's investor list there matched the press release.

What Flagler does

Flagler describes itself as an AI-native platform for MSK care. It integrates with a practice's existing electronic medical record system and coordinates triage, care management, billing and patient communications. The company says it was trained on one of the largest MSK patient datasets.

Flagler said it serves thousands of providers across more than 36 states. It also reported that providers using it earn about $164,000 in additional annual revenue on average, and that 87% of patients report improvement in pain, mood, sleep or mobility. These are company figures that have not been independently verified.

Dr Christopher Netzel, an interventional pain physician at Coastal Health, is quoted in the release saying the platform tracks patient outcomes remotely with no workflow change for staff.

The team

Albert Katz, a former MSK clinic operator, is chief executive. Dr Leon Anijar is co-founder and chief medical officer. The release says the company was founded by physicians and healthcare operators who ran MSK clinics, and that it has scaled in under three years. It did not give a founding year or headcount.

Katz said MSK is where the healthcare system's dysfunction is most visible. Anijar said Flagler makes the patient experience and the physician experience work together instead of against each other.

Katz also said, in comments carried by Pulse 2.0, that the problem is not a workflow problem but a structural one. Anijar said every doctor has wanted a tool like this and assumed it could not exist.

Who invested

Steve Kraus, a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, said Flagler is the only full-stack platform purpose-built for MSK.

The release did not detail earlier rounds, but the $63m total implies about $13m raised before the Series B.

What the money is for

The company said the funding will accelerate its expansion across MSK practices in the United States. It did not itemise spending.

Dealroom's report on the round and the press release agree on the amount, the lead investor and the total raised.

The company described its aim as becoming the AI-native operating infrastructure for the musculoskeletal specialty, according to Pulse 2.0.
