Kabilio, a Barcelona company that builds AI software for accounting firms, raised €10m (about $11.2m) in a round reported on 5 November 2026. Picus Capital and Visionaries led it, and Spain's public innovation agency CDTI also took part, according to Tech.eu and Tech Funding News.

Neither outlet gives a stage or a valuation. This site lists the round as a seed round because it follows a pre-seed. Total funding since launch is now €14m (about $15.6m).

Tech.eu said the money will go to rolling out the AI accounting agent, automating more accounting workflows and expanding the shared platform for accounting firms and small businesses.

What Kabilio does

Kabilio's platform helps accounting firms and their small-business clients automate bookkeeping. Tech.eu reported that it reads invoices, suggests accounting entries, matches bank transactions, prepares reconciliations and flags cases that need an accountant's attention. It works alongside a firm's existing software, and accountants review and approve the results. The company says it cuts bookkeeping and reconciliation time by about 60%.

The money will go towards an AI accounting agent that retrieves invoices, reconciles transactions, validates entries and asks clients for missing documents by email and WhatsApp. Accountants assign tasks in plain language and set how much autonomy the agent has. Several firms are piloting it. A later phase would extend the agent to small-business clients so it can issue invoices, chase overdue payments, request receipts and answer routine accounting and tax questions.

A second product, Kabilio Empresas, lets small businesses issue invoices, connect bank accounts and track cash flow while sharing data with their accounting firm in real time. Fiscalidad Inteligente and Alemany Assessors use it for much of their client portfolios.

Customers and team

Kabilio has grown from about 100 accounting firms in November 2025 to just over 500, Tech Funding News reported, and expects to serve more than 500 companies by the end of 2026. Named customers include Adlanter, Solfico and Gemap; Solfico and Gemap belong to the iusTime group.

The company was founded in 2024 by Jose Ojeda and Álex Valls, who are both co-chief executives, and launched its product in 2025. It has more than 80 employees, mostly in tech and product.

The funding so far

Picus Capital and Visionaries Club led Kabilio's €4m pre-seed round, announced on 5 November 2025, which also included €200,000 of public funding from ENISA, according to Tech.eu's report at the time.

Ojeda told Tech Funding News that the company did not go out to raise money and that the two investors approached it. Álex Valls told Tech.eu that an agent is only as good as the data it works on.

Ojeda also said the team likes to enter industries it knows nothing about, but with new technology. Tech Funding News said both lead investors had approached Kabilio, not the reverse.
