Talkiatry, a New York-based provider of in-network virtual psychiatric care, raised $210m in an oversubscribed Series D round, it announced on 12 February 2026.
Perceptive Advisors led the round. Sofina joined as a new investor, and the company's earlier lead investors Andreessen Horowitz, blisce/ and Left Lane Capital also took part. Banc of California provided a debt facility, whose size was not disclosed.
The company said the round brings its total funding to more than $400m. It did not disclose a valuation, according to Fierce Healthcare.
“Talkiatry is setting the standard for how psychiatry is delivered and measured, with a proven national operating model centered on employed psychiatrists built upon a proprietary technology platform.”Robert Krayn, CEO and Cofounder, Talkiatry
What Talkiatry does
Talkiatry describes itself as a full-stack provider group. It employs its psychiatrists directly rather than contracting them, runs its own technology platform and manages its contracts with insurers. It says it is the largest private employer of psychiatrists in the US, with more than 800 full-time psychiatrists, and that it has delivered 3 million patient visits.
The company is in-network with more than 100 insurers, covering over 170 million lives. Through its Mindshare Partner Program, launched in late 2023, it works with more than 50 health systems, including more than a third of the 20 largest in the country. It treats conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Talkiatry was founded in 2020 by chief executive Robert Krayn and Georgia Gaveras, DO. Its website says it serves patients in 45 states and Washington, DC.
What the money is for
Talkiatry said it would put the new money into its technology and into expanding across the range of patient acuity, including more complex care and deeper partnerships with health systems, payers and employers.
"This funding supports expansion into more complex care and deeper partnerships as institutional demand grows," Krayn said in the announcement.
The company also published results that it says its model delivers. It reported that 87% of anxiety patients and 86% of depression patients said their symptoms improved after two visits, that early drop-out was up to 60% lower than industry benchmarks and that cost-of-care reductions reached up to $700 per member per month. These figures are the company's own and were not independently verified.
Talkiatry also reported figures on its clinicians and patients. It said it had a net promoter score of 76, that 90% of its psychiatrists in its latest survey would recommend it as a place to practise, and that its clinicians reported 80% less burnout than the industry average. In 2025 it was named on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 list of fast-growing North American companies and among Fortune and Great Place to Work's best workplaces in health care.
Who invested
Michael Altman, head of strategy at Perceptive Advisors, said Talkiatry had built a national full-stack provider group on a proprietary AI-powered technology platform that gives it more control over the quality of care at scale.
"The company's consistent results across outcomes, engagement, and patient experience position it as defining the next era of psychiatric care in the United States," Altman said.
In June 2024 Talkiatry raised a $130m Series C led by Andreessen Horowitz, according to Parsers.vc. At that time it employed 300 licensed psychiatrists serving patients in 43 states, so its psychiatrist workforce has more than doubled since the previous round.
