Coram AI, a Sunnyvale, California company that sells an AI-native physical security platform, raised a $35m Series B, announced on 11 June 2026. Ansa Capital and Battery Ventures co-led the round, with UP.Partners, 8VC and Mosaic Ventures participating.
Total funding is now $66m, including an earlier $13.8m Series A, according to the company and Pulse 2.0. No valuation was disclosed.

What Coram does
Coram combines video, access control, visitor logs and emergency response in one platform. It works with a customer's existing cameras and infrastructure, so they do not need to replace them. Alongside the round it introduced Deep Investigation, which moves from text-based video search to autonomous security agents that analyse video, access events and visitor activity across cameras, locations and time and return answers with evidence attached. The company says investigations that once took hours or weeks now take minutes.
Chief executive Ashesh Jain said, "Most security systems just record what happened." He said the company's AI helps teams catch risks earlier, so schools, hospitals and workplaces are safer.
Traction the company reports
Coram says revenue has grown fourfold since the Series A and its customer base has tripled. More than 1,500 organisations in the US and Canada use the platform. These are company figures, and the company did not disclose revenue or headcount; it said it is hiring across sales, marketing, engineering and AI research.
Named customers include 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, Hershey's Ice Cream, World YMCA and Lakepointe Church, as well as school districts, healthcare providers, manufacturers and municipalities. Zach Waite, a vice president at Hershey's Ice Cream, called it one of the best investments the company has made in food safety and employee safety across its properties.
Stephen Hoffer, IT director at Hershey's Ice Cream, said Coram's AI capabilities mean no live person is required to watch footage all day. Bill Crowsey, director of information technology at Lakepointe Church, a multilingual church with eight campuses in Dallas, said he would recommend Coram because of the benefits of its AI features, ease of deployment and efficiency gains.
The founders
Jain, co-founder and chief executive, previously led autonomy at Lyft's self-driving division and was an engineering leader at Zoox. Co-founder Peter Ondruska was head of AI research at Lyft and then at Toyota's Woven division after Toyota acquired Lyft's self-driving technology in 2021.
Who invested and what the money is for
Allan Jean-Baptiste, co-founder and managing partner at Ansa Capital and a Coram board member, said physical security is one of the largest industries yet to be transformed by modern AI. Marcus Ryu, a general partner at Battery Ventures who is also on Coram's board, said Coram's hardware-enabled software anchors intelligence in first-party data.
Coram said the funds will go to sales capacity, AI product development and customer success. The release did not state a founding year, and Pulse 2.0 did not either.
The $13.8m Series A came the year before this round, according to Pulse 2.0, which did not name its lead investor.
