Jago Coffee, a Jakarta mobile coffee company, raised a $12.5m Series B round reported by Inside Retail Asia on 20 February 2026. BEENEXT led the round, with Intudo Ventures and Orzon Ventures participating, according to Inside Retail Asia. DealStreetAsia's headline for the round on 4 February credited BEENEXT and Intudo, and the site called them existing backers.
VnExpress, citing Tech in Asia, reported the round as $12m and said total funding now exceeds $20m. The $12.5m figure is the one used by Inside Retail Asia and DealStreetAsia. No valuation was disclosed.
What Jago does
Jago runs fully electric carts that serve residential areas, commercial districts and transit points. Customers can order from roaming carts or use the app to have the nearest barista dispatched. The company's website describes baristas called Jagoans, who it says arrive within 15 minutes of an order. Customers pay with GoPay or OVO, and there is no minimum order or delivery fee. Drinks start at IDR 8,000 and use arabica beans, according to the site.
VnExpress said drinks start at about $0.50 and that the concept draws on local street vendors. It reported that Jago has its own technology stack, uses machine learning to identify expansion areas and runs separate apps for baristas and customers.
The website also offers Jago Party, which lets customers book a cart for events, and says the company is recruiting Jagoans. Its address is in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
Earlier funding and growth
Jago raised $6m in a Series A in April 2024, led by existing backers Intudo Ventures and BEENEXT Accelerate, with Orzon Ventures and D Global Ventures participating, The Jakarta Post reported. At that time Jago covered about 7% of Jakarta and aimed for 50% by the end of that year. It planned to grow its depots from 3 to 15 and its fully electric carts from 300 to 1,500.
DealStreetAsia's photo caption named Yoshua Tanu as chief executive, Daniel Sidik as chief operating officer and chief marketing officer, and Christopher Oentojo as chief technology officer. Inside Retail Asia said the company was founded in 2020 in Jakarta.
According to TechNode Global, as cited by VnExpress, Jago grew more than 13-fold in 2023. VnExpress also reported a 17% revenue rise in December 2024, while losses more than doubled over the same period.
What the money is for
Inside Retail Asia said the company is accelerating plans to expand its electric cart footprint and enhance its in-house technology platform nationwide. VnExpress said the article did not detail the spending beyond expansion.
The sources do not report the current number of carts, the headcount or any revenue figure for 2025, and none of them quotes a named executive about this round.
