Metaview, which builds AI agents for recruiting teams, raised $60m in a Series C round led by Insight Partners, it announced on 30 September 2026.
GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural and Garuda Ventures also took part. The round came about a year after the company's previous raise and brought its total funding to $110m. Metaview did not disclose a valuation.
“The best engineering teams have already moved from writing code by hand to orchestrating AI agents that do the work. Recruiting is next. We're rebuilding hiring with AI at the core to make it radically more efficient and precise, while creating a better system for everyone involved.”Siadhal Magos, CEO and co-founder, Metaview
What Metaview does
Metaview was founded in 2018 by Siadhal Magos, its chief executive, and Shahriar Tajbakhsh, its chief technology officer, who previously worked at Uber and Palantir. The company has teams in London and San Francisco.
It began with software that captures and summarises job interviews and says it has recorded more than 6 million of them. It now uses that data to run a set of connected AI agents that source candidates before they apply, review applications against a role brief, hold structured screening conversations and turn interviews into notes. People set the hiring criteria and make every final decision, the company said.
More than 7,000 companies use Metaview, including Deel, Affirm, Navan and Replit. The company said some customers had cut their time to hire by more than 75%. In August it acquired Reval, an AI-native recruiting startup, according to The Next Web.
In its announcement Metaview argued that recruiting is under strain because AI tools have made it easy for candidates to send large numbers of applications, raising the volume each recruiter has to handle.
What the money is for
The company named three priorities for the funding. First, it is making fillmore, which it calls an autonomous recruiting coworker, generally available, alongside new specialist agents. The Next Web reported that fillmore sources candidates, writes outreach, manages follow-ups and books screening calls, and that a dedicated AI screening agent is in development.
Second, Metaview plans to grow from 80 to 250 employees by the end of next year and open a New York office alongside its London and San Francisco hubs.
Third, it is expanding 10x Recruiting, its community and training programme for recruiters, which teaches what the company calls talent engineering: building and running hiring systems powered by AI.
Who invested
Ryan Hinkle, a managing director at Insight Partners, said hiring was producing more candidate volume than most organisations could handle and that Metaview had added structure across sourcing, screening and final decisions.
Several backers are returning investors. Metaview's $35m Series B in June 2025 was led by GV, with Plural, Vertex Ventures US, Seedcamp, Coelius Capital and True Equity taking part, according to Vestbee. At that time the company had raised $50m across four rounds and said it served more than 3,000 customers.
A busy market for AI hiring tools
Metaview's raise came as other AI recruiting startups also attracted funding. The Next Web noted that Spott had raised a $21m Series A led by Balderton and that Jack & Jill had raised $40m in recent weeks.
