Roleo, an Estonian start-up that gives technology workers a personal AI agent to find their next job, has raised €2.9m (about $3.3m). The company announced the funding on 2 November 2026 and did not name the stage of the round.
Practica Capital, a Baltic venture firm, led the round, and the Nordic investor Inventure took part. Angel investors include Bolt founder Markus Villig, Pipedrive chief technology officer Sergei Anikin, Wise's first product manager Henrik Bohman and Kristina Lilleõis, chief people officer at Hedosophia.
Roleo said it has now raised €3.46m (about $3.9m) in total. It did not disclose a valuation. Tech.eu also listed Lemonade Stand among the backers of the company.

What Roleo does
Roleo's agent is free for job seekers. It reads a user's LinkedIn profile rather than asking for a CV, learns their experience, goals, salary expectations and preferences, and then watches the market for suitable roles. The company says it reviews hundreds of thousands of open technology jobs each week and usually picks out the three that best fit each user, explaining why.
When there is a match, the agent can put the candidate in touch with a hiring manager without a formal application. Nothing moves forward until the user agrees, and their current employer cannot see that they are using the service. Employers pay only when they hire someone.
Users can set preferences for role, location, salary and company culture, decide how visible they are to employers and choose how often they hear from the agent, by email or WhatsApp. Roleo also runs a referral programme that pays a bonus if someone a user recommends is hired.
Roleo says that since it started matching at the beginning of 2026, users have chosen to explore 30,000 opportunities the agent found for them. Its users include people working at Google, Amazon, Stripe and Spotify. The company lists salary insights, a profile check-up and career planning as features planned for 2027.
Who is behind it
Chief executive Janer Gorohhov co-founded Veriff, the Estonian identity verification company. His co-founder and chief technology officer, Vahur Hansen, was an early engineer at Wise and later co-founded Membo. Roleo has not said when it was founded or how many people it employs.
Villig, who invested personally, said both founders know from experience how hard it is to find and hire good people across Europe. Donatas Keras, a partner at Practica Capital, pointed to their operating experience and ambition.
What the money is for
Roleo said the money will take its agent to technology workers across Europe and improve how well it understands what each person wants from their career. According to Tech.eu, the company also wants to extend the product from job matching into longer-term career development.
Gorohhov told Tech.eu that people should be able to concentrate on their work without missing what could come next.
