Nealle, the Tokyo company that runs Park Direct, an online service for renting and managing monthly parking spaces in Japan, has raised ¥6bn (about $38.1m) in a Series C round. It announced the round on 5 November 2026. The release went out at 1pm Japan time, and The Bridge reported on it the following day.

Insight Partners, the New York software investor, led the round. Yucho Asset Management, which led Nealle's Series B, invested again through a fund run by one of its subsidiaries.

The ¥6bn combines new shares with a sale of existing ones. Keyrock Capital Management, which invested in 2023 and 2024, sold part of its holding to the incoming investors, so that portion of the money went to Keyrock rather than to Nealle. Keyrock remains the largest outside shareholder. The company did not say how large the secondary portion was, and it did not disclose a valuation or its total funding to date.

What Nealle does

Park Direct moves the contracting, payment and management of monthly parking spaces online for the property management companies that look after them and for the drivers who rent them. Nealle said its business version, Park Direct for Business, was growing quickly.

A year ago the company launched ONE DAY PARK, which rents out monthly parking spaces by the day. It is now offered in all 47 of Japan's prefectures. Nealle said its annual recurring revenue had grown more than 40-fold over four years, faster than the T2D3 benchmark that software investors use for fast growth. It did not publish revenue, parking-space or headcount figures.

Nealle was founded in January 2013 and is based in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. Yota Sato is chief executive.

New services

Alongside the round, Nealle introduced three products. Sukima-kashi lets people who hold a monthly contract rent out the hours their space sits empty; The Bridge reported that it is offered through property managers using Park Direct and that holders keep the proceeds after a fee. PD Trunk Room handles listings, online contracts, payments, renewals and cancellations for rental storage and containers. Park Direct for Bicycle brings contracts for bicycle parking in apartment buildings onto the same system as car parking.

The company described the wider aim as a "Mobility OS" built around parking.

Who invested and why

"What stood out to us about Nealle is the combination of durable core growth and a clear path to expansion," said Max Wolff, a managing director at Insight Partners. Masahiro Baba, a managing director at Yucho Asset Management, said control of cars and the places they park gave Nealle an unusual position from which to build that platform.

Sato said in the release that the company would keep trying to build infrastructure for mobility, starting from parking.

Insight Partners also led a ¥4.5bn Series D in Tokyo manufacturing-software company Fact Base, announced the same day.

What the money is for

Nealle said it would use the funding to grow its existing business, develop the new mobility services and move into neighbouring areas of property management.

Yen amounts are converted at about ¥157.5 to the dollar.
