Pronto, an Indian start-up that sends trained workers to households within minutes, raised a $20m (₹189 crore) extension to its Series B round, reports said on 7 May 2026. The investment was led by Lachy Groom, described by Outlook Business as co-founder of the AI robotics company Physical Intelligence and an early backer of quick-commerce firm Zepto.
The extension takes the Series B to $45m. It values Pronto at $200m, which Inc42 and Outlook Business said doubled its valuation in about a month. Inc42 said the valuation had been reportedly about $100m at the first close in early March.
Total funding is nearly $60m, according to Entrepreneur India and Outlook Business. Inc42 put the total at more than $60m including this round.

What Pronto does
Pronto, founded in 2025 by Anjali Sardana, offers on-demand household services through trained, background-verified professionals. Inc42 described 10-minute bookings for tasks such as sweeping, mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry and routine chores. Entrepreneur India listed cleaning, laundry, utensil washing, meal preparation, car washing and gardening.
The company recently added car washing and gardening in some micromarkets and is piloting home cooks in Bengaluru. Inc42 said its headquarters moved to HSR Layout in Bengaluru about six months earlier, while customer support remains in Gurugram. Entrepreneur India named Urban Company and Snabbit as competitors.
Outlook Business said the platform connects urban households with trained, background-verified workers for cleaning, laundry and meal preparation, and that it recently began offering car washing and gardening in select micromarkets.
Growth since the first close
Entrepreneur India reported that daily bookings rose to about 26,000 from nearly 18,000 after the first Series B tranche, and that the platform runs at more than 65% utilisation. Outlook Business gave the same booking figure. The number of service professionals grew from 1,440 in January to about 6,500, which Inc42 summarised as 4.5 times growth in four months.
Inc42 reported that the first tranche was $25m, raised in early March from Epiq Capital, Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst and Bain Capital Ventures. It also said Pronto had raised an $11m Series A in August 2025.
Entrepreneur India put the new booking rate at roughly 780,000 a month. Outlook Business said the workforce growth took place over four months, and gave the same 26,000 daily bookings figure. Inc42 cited about 18,000 daily bookings as the last figure reported.
What the money is for
The company said it will use the money to strengthen its foothold in existing cities over the next six months, and Entrepreneur India added that it will expand car washing, gardening and home cooking in select Bengaluru micromarkets. The reports did not name other cities.
Sardana said: "Organising informal labour is going to be one of the defining shifts of the next decade in services." She added that the longer-term vision is for Pronto to be the world's largest labour organisation platform.
The sources reviewed did not give Pronto's revenue or profitability.
