Qashier, a Singapore company that provides a merchant operating system for Southeast Asian small businesses, raised $6.125m in a Series A+ round announced on 30 June 2026. The round mixes equity and debt. Cocoon Capital led, with IFP Securities and BlackSoil Global, and strategic angel investors also took part.
TechNode Global reported that the money will go toward regional expansion and product development, including omnichannel payments, embedded financial services, AI-driven insights and workflow automation. Qashier also plans to build out offerings for larger, multi-outlet businesses in food and beverage and in beauty and wellness.

What Qashier does
Qashier combines payments, business software, customer relationship management and embedded financial services in a single system with more than 50 modules. It supports over 20 regional payment methods and owns its end-to-end payments stack, TechNode reports.
The company says it serves more than 20,000 merchants in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines and processes about $1bn in annualised payment volume. Annualised recurring revenue grew 61% over the year, TechNode reports. Fintech News Singapore adds that the company says it has been profitable since December 2025. All of these figures come from the company.
Qashier's lending product, QashierLoans, launched in June 2025 and is revenue-based. TechNode reports that it has disbursed more than $10m to over 100 small businesses.
What the executives said
Co-founder and chief executive Christopher Choo told Fintech News Singapore: "Merchants should not have to stitch together five vendors to run one business." TechNode quoted him describing the company's aim of building the operating system for Southeast Asia's small-business economy profitably.
Michael Blakey of Cocoon Capital said the co-founders, Choo and Franklin Zhao, have a clear vision of Qashier becoming the default operating infrastructure for commerce in the region, and that Cocoon remains committed to supporting it.
The funding so far
TechNode reports that Qashier has raised under $20m to date. The company did not give an exact total or a breakdown of the earlier rounds, and did not disclose a valuation.
Fintech News Singapore says the company is preparing a Series B, which it will aim at milestones on recurring revenue, payment licensing and loan disbursement.
DealStreetAsia also reported the round, giving the size as $6m and the lead as Cocoon Capital.
The company did not disclose a valuation or the split between equity and debt, and neither TechNode nor Fintech News Singapore gives a founding year or headcount for Qashier.
Why the structure matters
The round is part equity and part debt, and the reports do not say how much of the $6.125m is debt. They also do not give a headcount.
Qashier emphasises in the announcement that it owns its payments stack end to end.
Outlets label the round differently. TechNode Global's headline calls it a Series A, while Fintech News Singapore's headline and the company's own description call it a Series A+. Both give the same size, $6.125m, and the same lead investor.
