Rezolv, a Mumbai company that sells AI software to lenders, raised a $12.5m Series A on 18 August 2026. Norwest led the round, and Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India invested for the first time. Existing investor 3one4 Capital also took part.

Rezolv said the money will go to strengthening its AI across sales, risk, underwriting and collections, to building end-to-end lending workflow automation and to expanding globally. Valuation was not disclosed in Vertex's announcement or in FinTech Global's report.

Rezolv is headquartered in Mumbai. Its legal name is Rezolv AI Technology Solutions, and 3one4 Capital is named as an existing investor.

What Rezolv does

Rezolv describes itself as an AI-native lending technology platform for banks and non-bank lenders, with debt collection as its main product. Its customers include more than 22 banks and lenders, and Vertex's release named AU Small Finance Bank, ICICI Bank, Poonawalla Fincorp, Bajaj Auto Credit, Muthoot Capital and IIFL among them.

The company says its systems handle about 6.5 million minutes of borrower conversations a month and support collections across more than 12 million loan accounts in India. It also says its Strategy Builder tool improved bounce and resolution rates by 35%. All of these are company figures that have not been independently verified.

Vertex's release also listed Five-Star Business Finance, Finova Capital, IndoStar, Protium, Northern Arc, APAC Financial Services and Vridhi Home Finance among its customers, showing that the client base spans both large banks and smaller non-bank lenders.

The announcement frames the opportunity as AI that moves beyond collections alone, so the same platform can support a lender from the first sales contact through underwriting and risk decisions to recovery.

The founders

Rezolv was founded in 2024 by Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal, who previously founded the lender Kissht. Jindal said AI adoption is no longer the challenge because nearly every organisation is implementing AI.

Mehta said the funding gives the company the confidence to take its products to global markets.

Who invested

Niren Shah, managing director and head of Norwest India, and Nikhil Kookada, a principal at Norwest, said debt collection is one of the most compelling areas in financial services for AI-led transformation.

Ben Mathias, managing partner at Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, said the platform sharply cuts manual work and gives faster, more predictable collections. Vertex has backed the founders before.

Akshay Sharma, a principal at 3one4 Capital, described the round as validating a shift from services to product as AI changes debt collection.

Mathias also said the platform gives lenders faster and more predictable collections, a statement about customer results that the sources do not back with figures.

The funding so far

The sources opened for this article do not give amounts for any earlier round. They name 3one4 Capital as an existing investor but not the size of its earlier investment.

According to the announcement, the next step is to carry the same approach from collections into other parts of the lending process, and into markets beyond India. Rezolv did not disclose its headcount.

Vertex's release gave the round date as 18 August 2026 and described Rezolv as serving banks and non-bank lenders with AI across sales, risk, underwriting and collections.
