What Runable does
Runable is an AI agent that builds websites, apps, pitch decks and marketing videos for small businesses, and sets up databases, payments and deployment. It also offers competitor tracking, customer support and SEO tools.
The company says it has 1.5 million users, mostly small-business owners running teams of about two people, across the US, UK, Japan and Brazil. It also says it reached $2m in annual recurring revenue within three weeks of launch. These are company claims that Inc42 did not independently verify.
Chief executive Umesh Kumar said building software stopped being the hard part. He added that nobody starts a business because they want a landing page.
Pulse 2 reported that Runable is a single agent that keeps shared context and memory across tasks. Its marketing tools include paid campaigns on ChatGPT Ads, Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok, social media scheduling, cold email, direct messaging, voice calls through a real phone number, competitor monitoring, brand sentiment analysis, and search and answer-engine optimisation. Typical users run agencies, consultancies and cleaning services.
Kumar also said there are millions of small businesses outgunned by companies with bigger teams and bigger budgets, which is the market Runable is aimed at.
The founders
Kumar and Saksham Sarda founded Runable in 2025, with the product launching earlier in 2026. Kumar previously co-founded the edtech startup SkoolStream, which Bodhi AI acquired in March 2022. The company has 15 team members.
Pulse 2 said Sarda started coding at 12 and began working on decentralised payment protocols at 18.
What the money is for
Runable will use the funds to add customer acquisition and marketing channels, deepen campaign measurement and let its AI agent detect and fix campaign issues on its own. It will also scale Runable Academy, a free course for business owners, and hire across engineering, machine learning, product, growth and customer support.
Who invested
Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners are the co-leads. Together Fund and Array VC were already investors in the company.
Sai Araveti, an investment adviser to Susquehanna Venture Capital, said AI made starting a business nearly free but that running one is still the expensive part. Jishnu Bhattacharjee, a partner at Nexus Venture Partners, said businesses need outcomes: customers, revenue and cash in the bank. Shubham Gupta of Together Fund said durable value in AI will come from helping users actually run their business.
