Sahi, a Bengaluru stock and derivatives trading platform founded by former Swiggy chief technology officer Dale Vaz, raised a $33m (about ₹312 crore) Series B round led by Accel, with Elevation Capital taking part, according to reports published on 29 and 30 April 2026.

Entrepreneur India put the valuation at about $200m, and FinTech Global carried the same figure in its headline. Outlook Business, which covered the company's announcement, said the valuation was not disclosed, and Inc42 said its own earlier exclusive had reported talks to raise $30m to $35m at a valuation above $200m. The valuation is therefore a media-reported figure, not one confirmed by the company.

Entrepreneur India and FinTech Global said Accel Growth, Accel's growth fund, contributed nearly $20m of the round, with the rest coming from existing investors including Elevation Capital and Accel India. FinTech Global described the round as a 3.3 times step-up from the Series A.

What Sahi does

Sahi is a mobile-first trading platform for active retail traders. Inc42 said it supports stock trading and futures and options on mobile and web, and that its proprietary chart engine offers a one-click, single-screen experience with real-time Greeks, open interest and technical indicators.

Outlook Business said the company aims to give retail traders institutional-grade speed, tools and intelligence without high terminal fees, with a chart-native interface that combines analysis and trade execution, plus automated risk management for derivatives traders. It is registered as a broker with the NSE and BSE through Aaritya Broking Private Limited.

Vaz co-founded the company in 2023 with Manish Jain, a former Kotak Securities executive and the company's chief product officer. FinTech Global and Entrepreneur India said operations began in January 2025. FinTech Global claimed that 96% of orders execute in under 10 milliseconds.

Traction

For the year from April 2025 to March 2026, Outlook Business reported a 24-fold increase in trade volumes and 19-fold growth in active traders, with about 4 lakh demat accounts onboarded to date. More than 86% of the 13 crore trades the platform has processed came in the 2026 financial year. Entrepreneur India said it now handles over one million trades a day, about 3% of total market activity.

Inc42 cited data from Tofler that Sahi's revenue in the 2025 financial year was ₹5.1 lakh, with a net loss of ₹3.5 crore.

What the money is for

Sahi said the funding will go to deepening its technology and AI stack, widening its product suite into new trading categories and scaling its user base, and Inc42 added that it is entering the wealthtech segment. FinTech Global said planned additions include margin trade funding, commodity trading and mutual funds.

Manasi Shah of Accel said: "the growth of retail trading in India is a structural shift." Vaas Bhaskar of Elevation Capital pointed to the company's customer focus as the main driver of its early success.

Earlier, Sahi raised a $10.5m Series A in June 2025, co-led by Accel and Elevation Capital, which Inc42 said was used for algorithmic trading automation, market expansion and hiring. Outlook Business said that round closed less than a year before the Series B.

Inc42 listed Zerodha's Kite, Groww, Dhan and Angel One as competitors, and noted that tighter SEBI rules on futures and options have pressured revenue across trading platforms. No source gave a headcount.
