Shamrock AI, an enterprise software start-up headquartered in Shillong, Meghalaya, has raised $5m (about ₹47.4 crore) in a seed round led by Endiya Partners, Inc42 reported on 15 October 2026. Capria Ventures also took part.
It is the company's first institutional funding. No valuation was disclosed.
Sarat Addanki, Anuraag Nallapati and Michael (Mick) Gallagher founded Shamrock AI in 2026. Besides its Shillong headquarters, the company has offices in Hyderabad and San Francisco.
“Enterprises are looking to move beyond AI experimentation and deploy agents across critical business processes, but doing so reliably requires a deep understanding of how their businesses operate.”Anuraag Nallapati, Co-founder and Head of Product and Strategy, Shamrock AI
What Shamrock AI does
Shamrock AI describes its product as an agentic assurance platform: software meant to help large companies run AI agents reliably in critical business processes. At its core is what it calls an Enterprise Business Knowledge Graph, a map that links a company's processes, systems, data and configuration settings so that agents have context on how the business actually works.
The first use case is testing. The start-up uses AI agents to automate the test cycle in large enterprise resource planning (ERP) projects, including migrations to SAP S/4HANA.
The company says that each round of testing and validation gives it a more accurate picture of a customer's operations. It plans to build on that picture to move into data observability and autonomous automation of business processes.
Shamrock AI has not disclosed how many people it currently employs.
Customers and investors
Shamrock AI says it already serves several Fortune 500 companies, including a Fortune 100 maker of AI hardware and a Fortune 100 healthcare company. It has not named them, and it has not published revenue figures.
Anvesh Ramineni, a partner at Endiya Partners, said in the announcement carried by Entrepreneur India that it is rare to see an early-stage company combine technical and domain expertise with deep trust from Fortune 500 companies. Co-founder Anuraag Nallapati, who leads product and strategy, said companies want to move beyond experiments and put agents into critical processes, which requires a deep understanding of how each business operates.
What the money is for
Endiya Partners led the round and Capria Ventures joined it; neither firm disclosed how much it put in. The start-up's pitch rests on a problem many large companies now face: before AI agents can be trusted with core operations, someone has to keep testing and validating the business processes they touch.
The funding will go into product development, a larger team in India and the US, go-to-market work and expansion in the Middle East. Shamrock AI expects 70% to 80% of its staff to be based in India and plans a client-facing team in the US.
The round comes as investment in Indian AI companies picks up. Inc42 reported that Indian AI start-ups raised $438m across 35 deals in the third quarter of 2026, up 265% from a year earlier. In the same week, Parallel Loop raised a $6.6m seed round led by 3one4 Capital and Clueso raised a $10m Series A led by Dharana Capital, according to Inc42.
