Skan AI, a software company that records how work moves across enterprise applications, raised a $63m Series C co-led by Cathay Innovation and Dell Technologies Capital, announced on 12 August 2026.

Citi Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, State Farm Ventures and Wipro Ventures also took part, according to SiliconANGLE and Pulse 2.0. SiliconANGLE reported total funding of about $120m since the company was founded in 2019. No valuation or headcount was disclosed.

What Skan does

Skan observes how employees work across applications and builds what it calls a context graph of work. AI agents can use that map to understand how a business actually runs. SiliconANGLE listed three products: Blueprint, which maps processes, Intelligence, which identifies where time and cost are lost, and Agents, which automates work modelled on top performers.

Chief executive and co-founder Avinash Misra said everyone is obsessed with building a better car, and that the bigger opportunity is building a better navigation system.

Customers and traction

The company says about a quarter of the Fortune 50, seven of the 10 largest US banks and three of the five largest US insurers use its platform. SiliconANGLE also named Mitie Group as a customer.

Skan reported growth of more than 300% year on year and average net dollar retention of 150%. It said it has logged more than 25 billion work signals and that measured customer value exceeds $500m. At one large US bank it reported a 32% fall in cost per transaction and $18m in annualised savings. These figures come from the company and were not independently verified.

Raman Khanna, a managing director at Dell Technologies Capital, said enterprise leaders need to identify where AI can create measurable operational advantage.

Jennifer Redden, head of technology at the customer Definiti, said that before Skan it was a case of turning on AI and hoping.

Across 1,500 finance staff at one bank, the platform tracked 11.2 million context switches, according to SiliconANGLE. The company reports average operational savings of 30% to 40% for customers and says agents at that bank raised throughput by 41%.

History

SiliconANGLE reported that Skan's previous round was a $40m Series B in March 2022, led by Dell Technologies Capital with Citi also backing it.

Misra is the only founder named in the sources.

What the money is for

Skan said the funds will go to product development and to expanded sales in financial services, insurance, healthcare and technology, according to SiliconANGLE. The company's page said the round will help bring operational context to enterprise AI.

Simon Wu, a partner at Cathay Innovation, said enterprise work context is becoming the foundational infrastructure layer for enterprise AI.
