“We are making the world flat for equity by building the compliance-first AI-native infrastructure layer”Maor Levran, Co-founder and CEO, Slice Global Equity
What Slice does
Slice builds software that bakes the tax and legal rules of different countries into equity administration. Its platform covers cap tables, grants, approvals, grant letters, exercises and reporting, with integrations to finance, legal, HR and payroll systems. Its website also lists tax and reporting tools such as Form 3921 and 409A valuations.
Insight's announcement described a single system covering equity operations, multi-country compliance, workflow controls with audit trails, and liquidity support such as secondaries and proceeds distribution. The company claims a 60% cut in equity operations cycle times and an 80% cut in outside local counsel fees. Both figures are company claims. It cites SOC 2, SOC 1, ISO 27001, GDPR and CPRA compliance.
Calcalist reported that Slice sells traditional software subscriptions priced annually by company size and the complexity of its equity structure, and that it operates in about 60 countries with a goal of 100 within a year.
Customers and team
Insight listed Wiz, Wayve, Aidoc, Orca, Silverfort, Avid, Augury, VAST Data, Aqua Security, Cyera, Optimove and Guesty as customers. Calcalist said Slice has more than 100 customers, whose equity is distributed to more than 70,000 employees. Fazal Merchant, chief financial officer of Wiz, said the product is built to evolve and stay ahead, which is why Wiz trusts it as its system of record.
Maor Levran is co-founder and chief executive. Calcalist described him as a lawyer with about 15 years at leading Israeli law firms, and said the company was founded in 2023 and has about 30 employees across Israel and the United States. Yoel Amir is the chief product officer. The sources do not state a headquarters city, and Calcalist did not disclose revenue.
What the money is for
Slice said it will deepen its AI-native compliance infrastructure, expand product and engineering to cover more jurisdictions and workflows, and scale go-to-market globally.
Hagi Schwartz, a managing director at Insight Partners, said the firm believes Slice is poised to define a new category of agentic global equity management. Levran said the company is making the world flat for equity by building the compliance-first, AI-native infrastructure layer.
