Spill Games, a Bengaluru-based mobile game studio, has raised $10.5m in a Series A round led by Elevation Capital. The company announced the round on 14 October 2026. Inc42 put the amount at about ₹100 crore.
Existing investors Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital also took part. The company did not disclose a valuation.
The round comes roughly half a year after Spill Games raised a $3.1m seed round in April 2026, according to Inc42, and about two years after the studio was founded.

What Spill Games does
Spill Games makes free-to-play mobile titles in the casual, puzzle and hybrid-casual genres for players around the world. It earns money from advertising and in-app purchases, a model Inc42 contrasted with the real-money gaming platforms hit by India's government ban on that category.
The studio works on a portfolio basis: it builds many small games, tests them quickly with players and puts more resources behind those that catch on. According to Entrepreneur India, it grew from three live titles to six within a few months. Titles named in coverage include Cozy Finds, Sticker by Number, Zen Math Crossword, Bird Rescue Jam, Grill Master and Cozy Crossword.
Much of the work runs through Compass, an in-house platform that the company uses for analytics, player retention, monetisation and live operations. Spill Games says reusing that infrastructure shortens development and testing, and Inc42 reported that the studio aims to work about four times faster than traditional approaches.
When it raised its seed round in April, about half of its users were in the US, with Brazil at about 15% and Japan at about 10%, according to Inc42. The company has not published download, revenue or headcount figures.
Who is behind it
Spill Games was founded in 2024 by Om Misra, who is chief executive, Tapan Ranjan and Harsh Garg. All three previously worked as executives at PlaySimple Games, according to PocketGamer.biz.
"We build what excites us, put it in front of players quickly and let their response guide us," Misra said in the announcement.
Manish Advani, a principal at Elevation Capital, said in comments carried by Entrepreneur India that the firm expects the next decade to bring a wave of AI-native gaming studios that combine AI with strong product judgement.
What the money is for
The company said it will use the funding to scale the games that are already working, add more titles to its development pipeline and build out the AI and technology behind Compass. Part of the money will go to user acquisition, and the studio plans to hire selectively.
At the seed stage, Spill Games set itself a target of testing more than 20 prototypes within 18 months and launching five to ten profitable new titles, Inc42 reported.
The funding so far
Before this round, the studio's only reported institutional raise was the $3.1m seed in April 2026, which Inc42 put at about ₹28 crore. Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital, both described as existing investors, followed on in the Series A.
Spill Games' focus on ad-supported and in-app purchase games for players abroad keeps it outside the real-money segment. Inc42 noted that India's online gaming sector has been reshaped by the ban on real-money games and by a Supreme Court ruling in May that upheld a 28% GST on online gaming bets.
