Stord, an Atlanta-based e-commerce fulfilment and logistics software company, raised $250m in a Series F round at a $3bn valuation, it announced on 26 May 2026. Strike Capital led the round. Participants included Founders Fund, Kleiner Perkins, Franklin Templeton, Baillie Gifford, G Squared and Bond, according to The Next Web. Retail Technology Innovation Hub also listed Lux Capital.

Retail Technology Innovation Hub described the round as nearly $250m, while The Next Web and FreightWaves gave $250m. The figure used here is $250m.

The valuation doubles the $1.5bn the company was valued at in 2025, when The Next Web said it raised $200m. Both The Next Web and FreightWaves put total funding since Stord's 2015 founding at more than $775m.

What Stord does

Stord manages inventory, checkout, fulfilment, last-mile delivery and returns for online brands, using a software platform that handles order processing, warehouse picking and packing, and carrier selection. FreightWaves said it serves more than 1,000 customers, mostly small and mid-sized direct-to-consumer merchants such as True Classic and Native, and some larger companies.

The Next Web reported that Stord operates nearly 100 warehouses and processes more than $15bn in annual gross merchandise value. FreightWaves said the company has made eight acquisitions in six years, including Ware2Go from UPS and Penny Black in 2025 and Shipwire from CEVA Logistics in January 2026. The Next Web also named Pitney Bowes' e-commerce fulfilment operation.

Stord does not disclose revenue. It says revenue has grown tenfold in four years. FreightWaves cited the database GetLatka for last year's revenue of nearly $150m, a third-party estimate.

Stord Labs and use of funds

With the funding Stord launched Stord Labs, a facility to test robotics and automation before deploying them across its warehouse network. FreightWaves described it as a hub that aims to build, validate and deploy agentic AI, robotics and automation using data from real orders. CEO Sean Henry told The Next Web the company works with more than five robotics vendors, which he did not name.

The company also intends to expand its fulfilment network. FreightWaves noted that the size of the round and the doubling of the valuation could mean Stord is preparing for an initial public offering, but the company did not say so.

The pitch against Amazon

Henry said every independent brand has been left to work out for itself how to compete with a consumer experience Amazon has spent decades and hundreds of billions building, and that Stord exists to level that playing field. He co-founded the company with Jacob Boudreau while both were students at Georgia Tech, according to The Next Web.

John Lagomarsino, a partner at Strike Capital, said the rise of agentic purchasing will favour platforms where software and physical operations are deeply integrated. Ilya Fushman of Kleiner Perkins said the firm first backed Stord in 2019.

Risks noted

The Next Web pointed to the difficulty of integrating acquisitions, rolling out robotics and keeping delivery speeds up across so many sites. FreightWaves quoted Eric Pong of AfterShip, who writes as the Ecommerce Logistician, saying logistics hybrids such as Flexport, Convoy and Deliverr offer a cautionary tale for investors.
