Trovy, a New York consumer fintech that lets homeowners borrow against their home equity, raised a $15m Series A announced on 24 June 2026. Left Lane Capital led. Existing seed investors Kleiner Perkins, DCM Ventures and Camber Creek returned. Total funding is now $25m, the company said.
The money will fund nationwide expansion, deeper product capabilities and team growth.
“As a homeowner, you've spent years building equity and you deserve a better way to put it to work”TJ Milani, Co-Founder and CEO, Trovy
What Trovy does
Trovy helps homeowners use home equity to replace high-interest debt. Its flagship is a home equity-backed credit card issued by Cross River Bank under a Mastercard licence. It also offers a homeowner hub for home management and records, a rewards programme and the 1Loan, a home equity line of credit for purchases and refinances that is due to launch this summer.
The company says it is a licensed consumer lender rather than relying on bank partnerships. It is live in 27 states and licensed in 30. The target market is about 85 million US homeowners.
Trovy was founded by TJ Milani, co-founder and chief executive, and Ashley Harris, co-founder and chief operating officer. It launched its first product in June 2025, about eight months after the company was formed. The company did not disclose customer or employee numbers.
What the founders and investors said
Milani said: "As a homeowner, you've spent years building equity and you deserve a better way to put it to work." Harris said: "We want Trovy to be the home base for every homeowner. Once you have it, you won't want to own a home without it."
Henry Toole, partner at Left Lane Capital, said home equity is "one of the largest and most underutilized categories in consumer finance". Leigh Marie Braswell, partner at Kleiner Perkins, said Trovy is turning home equity into something homeowners can use in everyday life.
The funding so far
The seed round amount was not disclosed. The $25m total implies about $10m was raised before the Series A, although neither the press release nor FinTech Global states the seed figure. The sources do not give a valuation.
FinTech Global reported the same round size, lead and participants as the company's release.
Why home equity
US homeowners hold large amounts of equity that many cannot easily use without a refinance or a conventional loan. Trovy's card is designed to make that equity accessible at the point of spending.
The 1Loan product will extend the offer to home purchases and refinances.
Trovy says it is a licensed consumer lender and that it wants to be the home base for every homeowner. Of its products, the card is the only one described as already on offer. The 1Loan home equity line of credit, aimed at purchases and refinances, is due to launch this summer. FinTech Global covered the round the day after the company's announcement and repeated the same list of products.
