Worth, a company that sells banks, fintechs and payment providers an AI platform for onboarding and underwriting small and medium-sized businesses, announced a $30m Series A on 24 March 2026. Fulcrum Equity Partners led the round. Amex Ventures and TTV Capital took part, according to the company's press release as published by AOL.
Fintech Futures, which reported the round, named Fulcrum and Amex Ventures. The release did not disclose a valuation.
The company has not said whether the Series A is the first institutional round it has closed under the Worth name or how many financial institutions already use the platform, and the release stated no customer numbers.

What Worth does
The release described a product called Decision Intelligence, which combines credit assessment, Know Your Business and Know Your Customer checks, banking data and fraud detection into one platform. The company says every decision is auditable and traceable. It also described a patented technique it calls crosswalking, used to match business identities in real time, and a proprietary database it says covers more than 700 million businesses in over 200 countries and territories.
Worth also described Worth Wallet, a planned one-click, global onboarding experience for small businesses. The release presented it as a vision rather than a current product.
Customers and funding history
The company said it serves enterprise clients including payment processors, financial institutions and fintechs, and is seeing adoption among global financial institutions. It named none. Fintech Futures reported that Worth raised $25m in March 2025; the sources did not say who led that round or what it was called.
Sal Rehmetullah is chief executive and co-founder. Suneera Madhani is chief evangelist and co-founder. The release gave Orlando, Florida, as its dateline and said Worth was founded in 2023. Neither source gave a headcount, and the release mentioned no earlier funding apart from this round.
What the money is for
Worth said it will use the money to refine its existing technology, introduce "Know Your Agent" frameworks and deploy product updates such as Decision Intelligence. The name points to checks on the AI agents that act for businesses, in the way Know Your Customer checks cover people, though the release did not spell out how the framework will work.
Rehmetullah said financial institutions have been forced to make critical underwriting decisions on incomplete, fragmented data. Fintech Futures quoted him saying the company is enabling automated, auditable, real-time decisions that give financial institutions confidence in every outcome.
Who invested
Jim Douglass, a partner at Fulcrum Equity Partners, said Worth's founders had identified a critical gap in financial services that no one else was addressing. In the release he also said Worth is built to last.
Margaret Lim, managing director at Amex Ventures, said: "We believe Worth's AI-powered automation solutions could enable more seamless experiences for customers." She added that Worth's growth momentum shows its value proposition is resonating.
