Adaptive6, a cloud and AI cost governance company, came out of stealth on 28 January 2026 with a $28m Series A round led by U.S. Venture Partners. New Era Capital Partners, Forgepoint Capital, Pitango VC and Vertex Ventures also took part. Total funding stands at $44m, according to Ynet News and SiliconANGLE. No valuation was disclosed.
The sources do not state the company's headquarters or its founding year, and neither gives a headcount or a figure for what it raised before this round. The $16m difference between the $28m round and the $44m total is an inference rather than a reported number.
“Cloud cost has been treated as a finance problem, but finance doesn't own the code”Aviv Revach, CEO and co-founder, Adaptive6
What Adaptive6 does
Adaptive6 treats wasted cloud spend in much the way security teams treat vulnerabilities. Its platform scans providers and data platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Snowflake and Databricks, traces waste to the code responsible, and proposes fixes, including pull requests on GitHub. It also runs cost policy checks in software delivery pipelines so that expensive configurations can be blocked before they are deployed.
The company's website adds a second product line for AI spending, tracking costs for AI models, coding agents and GPUs across providers and enforcing budgets and guardrails.
Chief executive and co-founder Aviv Revach said cloud cost has been treated as a finance problem, but finance does not own the code. In SiliconANGLE's account he argued that the only way to fix cloud waste is to bring cost governance into the engineering workflow.
Customers and founders
Adaptive6 says it serves dozens of Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies, naming Bayer and Ticketmaster. Customers typically report cloud spending reductions of 15% to 35%, according to the company. Ynet News reported that one client saved more than $1m a year from a single fix. These are company-reported results.
Michael Aideloje, lead product manager for cloud FinOps at Bayer, called the product a game changer for cloud cost governance and optimisation, according to SiliconANGLE.
The company was founded by veterans of the Israel Defense Forces' Unit 8200, Ynet News reported. Besides Revach, who is also a governing board member of the FinOps Foundation, the founders are Omer Müller, the chief technology officer, and Eyal Brosh, the chief operating officer.
Who invested
Jacques Benkoski, a general partner at U.S. Venture Partners, said the founders had brought the cybersecurity playbook to FinOps, the discipline of managing cloud costs. Ynet quoted him spelling that out as detect, trace to code, remediate.
Neither source says what Adaptive6 plans to do with the new money, so this article does not speculate on that. The announcement was framed mainly as the company's public launch, with the funding as proof of investor interest in an area where finance and engineering teams have long argued over who is responsible for cloud bills.
