Agenz, a Moroccan real estate technology company, raised a $5m seed round, announced on 11 June 2026. Breega, Attijariwafa Ventures and Saviu Ventures co-led the round, which the company described as oversubscribed without saying by how much.

Launch Base Africa reported that Breega is based in Paris, Attijariwafa Ventures is the strategic arm of Attijariwafa Bank, which it called North Africa's largest bank, and Saviu is a pan-African fund focused on Series A and late-seed deals in Francophone Africa. No valuation was disclosed.

What Agenz does

Agenz was founded in 2021 by brothers Malik and Badr Belkeziz. It offers property valuation tools, market data analytics, software for real estate professionals and a buyer-facing transaction platform that launched in 2023. Its website, Agenz.ma, passed 730,000 monthly visits in May 2026, according to the company.

Wamda said the company is expanding beyond data and transaction services into the financial infrastructure layer of real estate, and aims to build an operating system for the next generation of the sector, making it more transparent, efficient and accessible.

Launch Base Africa noted that Morocco's property market has historically lacked price transparency and relied on informal brokerage, and named the listing portal Mubawab, owned by EMPG, as a competitor.

Who invested

Driss Ibenmansour, a partner at Breega, said, "Agenz has built, in just a few years, the platform the Moroccan real estate sector was missing." Launch Base Africa said Breega previously backed Payfit and Back Market.

Hamza Mikou, managing director of Attijariwafa Ventures, framed the investment around AI and data and said Agenz is not simply digitising real estate. Saviu's earlier investments include Wave and Bizao, according to Launch Base Africa. The report said Attijariwafa may offer distribution through the bank's mortgage and retail finance network, though that was the outlet's reading rather than a stated plan.

What the money is for

Agenz said the money will go to expanding the team, continued investment in technology and product enrichment, and scaling operations in Morocco ahead of an international ambition. Target markets and timing were not specified. Africa.com's account of the announcement added that the company will accelerate product development, strengthen its AI investments and widen its services to individuals, agents, developers, investors and financial institutions.

Malik Belkeziz, co-founder and chief executive, said, "We believe the future of real estate will be built on the responsible use of data and artificial intelligence." The company pledged to keep trust, transparency and data protection at the centre of its roadmap.

The funding so far

Wamda reported that Agenz raised a $1.3m pre-series round in July 2023 from Azur Innovation Fund, Maroc Numeric Fund II and Beenok. Wamda also named Wassila Berrada and Ayyoub Mouadden as later joiners to the founding team, without giving their roles.

The reports did not give a headcount, revenue or transaction value. One release carried a dateline of 11 June 2025, but the page headers and the May 2026 traffic figure indicate 2026.
