GovDash, which sells an AI platform for companies that win and manage government contracts, raised an oversubscribed $30m Series B, announced on 15 January 2026. Mucker Capital and the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) co-led the round. Existing investors Northzone and Y Combinator also took part, according to the company's announcement and SiliconANGLE.
No valuation was disclosed. The company is headquartered in New York and has a second office in Arlington, Virginia, according to its announcement.
“GovDash has become a force multiplier for SPATHE Systems”Darren Williams, VP of Solution Development, SPATHE Systems
What GovDash does
The platform covers the stages of government contracting, which the company calls Discover, Capture, Proposal, Contract and Delivery, with an AI agent on top. SiliconANGLE reported that the company was founded in 2021 and was formerly named Realize. Sean Doherty is founder and chief executive.
The announcement named customers including SPATHE Systems, Blue Rose Consulting, Aviation Training Consulting, Threat Tec, PowerTrain, Schatz Group, Brite Group, iWorks, JSL, BrennSys, Sumaria Systems and Scale AI. Darren Williams of SPATHE Systems called GovDash "a force multiplier".
Growth since the Series A
GovDash said revenue has grown 16 times since its Series A, though it gave no absolute figure. The customer count rose 18 times to nearly 200 companies, and multiple companies from the top 100 US government contractors have signed up. It also said its customers won more than $5bn in government contracts in 2025. These are company claims.
Headcount grew from three people to more than 45, according to the announcement; SiliconANGLE put it at 45.
BCI's release added that GovDash has achieved FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency, which lets it serve defense contractors that handle Controlled Unclassified Information. It also said the company expanded its New York headquarters and opened the Arlington office.
Because the Series A was raised in April 2024, the 16-times revenue and 18-times customer growth figures cover the period from that round to January 2026, a span of roughly 21 months.
What the money is for
GovDash said it will expand engineering across all its product areas, including the AI agent, invest in customer success and grow its offices in New York and Virginia.
Doherty said in the announcement that companies "are not just reacting to temporary disruptions" and are rethinking how they run their government business and leaning into technology. He also said that in five years GovDash customers will spend far less time on administrative overhead. Sanjiv Kalevar of Mucker Capital said the U.S. government depends on a strong private sector to execute critical missions.
The funding so far
SiliconANGLE reported that GovDash raised a $10m Series A in April 2024. The company's own announcement mentions the Series A without giving an amount. Adding the Series A and this round gives $40m, although neither source states a total raised.
Northzone and Y Combinator were previous investors, so the Series B is a follow-on for them. Mucker Capital and BCI, the co-leads, are the new names at the top of the cap table. BCI's release did not state why it invested.
