Journify, a San Francisco company that connects brands' sales data to advertising platforms, has raised $12m in a Series A round led by Al Mada Ventures. Silicon Badia, which led Journify's seed round, co-led as a returning investor. The company announced the round on 3 November 2026.

Existing investors Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their stakes, and Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new investors. Journify said the round was raised at four times its previous valuation but did not disclose the figure.

The company has regional offices in Dubai and Riyadh, and most of its named investors are based in the Middle East and North Africa. Wamda reported the round on 4 November.

What Journify does

Advertising platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap and Amazon Ads decide where to show ads partly based on the conversions brands report back to them: purchases, sign-ups and store sales.

Journify links a business's online and offline customer and sales data and passes it to the ad platforms, so they can see the sales that ads actually produce. FWDstart reported that the software checks for missing or duplicated records and sends data directly between servers, which reduces reliance on browser tracking. Journify also uses AI to monitor ad data quality and to detect and fix problems.

"Businesses know who buys, who comes back and what creates lasting customer value," co-founder and chief executive Taoufik El Jamali said in the release.

Customers and growth

More than 100 businesses use Journify, the company said, including Saudi retailer Jarir Bookstore and online furniture seller Baytonia. Journify said Jarir increased its return on Meta ad spend by 182%, and Baytonia raised its TikTok return on ad spend by 80% while cutting its cost per purchase by 44%. FWDstart noted that these figures measure how campaigns are tracked and perform, not the retailers' total sales.

Hossam Shafick, a partner at Silicon Badia, said in the release: "Since our initial investment, Journify has grown its valuation by more than 4x, and its revenues more than 5x." He said Journify could become a global leader in ad signal infrastructure. The company did not disclose revenue.

Omar Laalej, managing director of Al Mada Ventures, described the platform as a privacy-first foundation that can grow into intelligence and action.

What the money is for

Journify will use the money to expand in the United States and Europe and to build out the AI behind its platform, including data-quality monitoring for markets beyond the Gulf.

Silicon Badia led a $4m round in Journify announced in February 2025, with Saudi Arabia's RZM Investment taking part, FWDstart reported. FWDstart also reported that the company reached $1m in annual recurring revenue with ten employees, citing LinkedIn posts by El Jamali and Shafick.

Journify was founded in 2022 by El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki. Ryan Burke, a three-time chief revenue officer who worked with El Jamali at InVision, has joined the board ahead of the US push, according to FWDstart. Burke said the question was not whether the product works in the US but how fast it can scale there.
