Omnichat, a Hong Kong company that sells AI agents for marketing, sales and customer service inside messaging apps, has raised a US$10m Series A round led by Openspace Capital. The company announced the round on 26 October 2026.

Darwin Ventures and Acorn Pacific Ventures also took part. Omnichat did not disclose a valuation or its total funding to date.

“This Series A marks an important step as we transition from conversational commerce to AI-driven commerce,”Alan Chan, Founder and CEO, Omnichat

What Omnichat does

Omnichat started as a tool for conversational commerce, letting brands talk to and sell to customers over chat. In 2026 it launched a suite of AI agents, called Omni AI Agents, that do much of that work themselves.

A marketing agent builds customer segments and creates complete messaging campaigns from a single prompt. A sales agent recommends products and closes orders inside the chat, and a customer service agent answers questions around the clock. A fourth agent, OmniClaw, acts as a business analyst that tracks customer behaviour, chat trends and store-level revenue.

The agents run across WhatsApp, LINE, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WeChat, KakaoTalk and TikTok. Omnichat says it ties everything to a single customer profile and can attribute revenue back to a conversation, including purchases made later in a physical store.

The company contrasts this with shared-inbox tools, which it says only gather chats from different apps in one place without handling marketing, sales and service together.

Customers and traction

Omnichat says it works with more than 5,000 brands, including Dyson, FILA, Watsons, L'Occitane, VF Corporation, SMCP and Mead Johnson, and that its clients have generated more than US$100m in revenue through the platform.

The company says around 300 brands took up OmniClaw within two months of its launch in June, and that the number of brands using its marketing agent tripled over the same period. These figures come from the company and have not been independently verified.

Omnichat is a Meta Business Partner, a WhatsApp Business Solution Provider and a LINE technology partner.

Who invested and what the money is for

Openspace Capital is a Singapore-based asset manager focused on Southeast Asia that runs early-stage, growth, frontier tech and public equity funds. Its past investments include GoJek, Kredivo and TradeGecko.

Omnichat will use the money to scale its AI agent platform, spend more on research and development and expand beyond its existing operations across Asia Pacific.

Founder and chief executive Alan Chan said traditional customer messaging tools still need a lot of human work to drive sales, while the company's agents can sell, market and support customers around the clock.

Chan said partnering with Openspace Capital, Darwin Ventures and Acorn Pacific Ventures would give the company the support to take this approach across Asia Pacific and globally. The company says its pitch to brands is that agents let them grow revenue without growing headcount.
