What LimX does
LimX develops humanoid and legged robots and the software that runs them. Its website lists Luna, a full-size interactive humanoid, Oli, a full-size general-purpose humanoid, and the TRON 1 and TRON 2 multi-form robots. On the software side it lists COSA, a humanoid brain system, along with a robot manipulation algorithm and a training approach for embodied intelligence.
The release said the company has three core capabilities: robot hardware design and manufacturing, a cerebellum foundation model and an embodied agentic operating system. TechNode said it unveiled TRON 2 and the COSA operating system in the past two months. The website also names FluxVLA Engine, a base for moving vision-language-action models from simulation to real robots, and DreamActor, a training approach for embodied intelligence.
CnEVPost reported that Oli stands 165 cm, weighs under 55 kg including its battery and has 31 degrees of freedom. Pre-orders began in July 2025 at RMB 158,000, about $22,730.

What the money is for
The company said it will increase investment in research and development and market expansion in 2026, extending its reach in China and globally. TechNode quoted the company as saying the round supports its push to accelerate research and expand globally amid growing interest in embodied AI.
Caixin Global, citing DealStreetAsia, likewise reported that the funds are meant to expand the business in China and overseas, and named Stone Venture as one of the investors. The sources do not give a headcount, revenue or sales figures, and none of them quotes a named executive about the round.
