Lumio, the consumer electronics brand operated by Circuit House Technologies, has raised $12m in a Series A round led by Blume Ventures. Existing backers Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital also took part, Inc42 reported on 7 October 2026.

The company did not disclose a valuation. Indian outlets gave different rupee equivalents for the round: Inc42 put it at about ₹102.5 crore, while Fone Arena and Entrepreneur India cited roughly ₹115 crore.

Lumio was set up in 2024, according to Inc42, by Raghu Reddy, previously chief business officer of Xiaomi India, and Kailash Sankaranarayanan, a former senior director at Flipkart. Reddy is chief executive and Sankaranarayanan chief operating officer.

What Lumio sells

Lumio began selling smart TVs under the Vision name in early 2025 and has since added Arc projectors and Aura speakers. It presents its own software as the main thing that separates it from established TV makers such as Samsung, LG, Sony and Xiaomi.

That software includes an AI-based content discovery engine that works in nine Indian languages and is covered by patent filings, according to Inc42 and Fone Arena. On the hardware side, the company points to a fast system-on-chip for launching apps, generous memory for multitasking and a network chipset meant to keep streaming stable.

Early traction

The company said its gross merchandise value passed ₹100 crore (roughly $10m) within 13 months of commercial sales, and that GMV more than tripled year on year between April and August 2026. It did not disclose revenue.

Lumio says it now serves more than 35,000 households across over 5,000 pin codes. According to Fone Arena, nearly half of its smart TV buyers came from legacy electronics brands, and its after-sales network spans more than 300 service centres covering over 19,000 postal codes.

Blume Ventures partner Sajith Pai tied the investment to a change in how wealthier Indian homes shop. He said the country's 30m to 35m affluent households are rethinking their living rooms and no longer pick legacy brands by default.

What the money is for

Lumio plans to spend the new capital on research and development for its devices and software, on entering new product categories and on improving manufacturing quality, delivery and after-sales service. It also wants a wider retail presence, including offline stores where shoppers can try products before buying.

Reddy said in a social media post, quoted by Inc42, that the funding lets the company invest further in its products and software. Sankaranarayanan told Fone Arena the company had shown it can build products Indian households want in more than one category.

The funding so far

Inc42 reported that Lumio raised a $4.3m seed round in July 2024 from Stellaris Venture Partners, 3one4 Capital, Varun Alagh of Mamaearth, Abhishek Goyal of Tracxn and other angel investors. The company has not disclosed its total funding to date.

The Series A comes as Indian brands compete with global electronics groups for living-room spending. Inc42, citing market estimates, said India's consumer electronics market is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 6.6% and reach $158.4bn by 2034.
