Monaco, a San Francisco company that sells an AI-native sales platform, raised a $50m Series B led by Benchmark, according to reports published in mid-May 2026. Founders Fund and Human Capital, which backed the company earlier, took part again. Total funding now exceeds $85m, Built In reported.

A press release carried by VCA Online listed Alt Cap, Mantis, Saga VC, Garry Tan, Neil Mehta and John and Patrick Collison among the investors, alongside Benchmark, Founders Fund and Human Capital. No valuation was disclosed. Outlets gave different dates for the news, between 12 and 18 May; the company's release was dated 12 May.

What Monaco does

Monaco is aimed at replacing a patchwork of customer relationship management software, prospecting data, email sequencing, conversation intelligence and forecasting tools with one platform. ContentGrip described it as combining prospecting, outbound execution, pipeline management and revenue workflows around autonomous, agentic processes.

Pulse 2 said the software uses AI and autonomous agents to build lists of potential customers, run outbound campaigns, capture and enrich customer interactions and advance deals. Built In listed client prospecting, demand generation and revenue conversion as the core tasks. ContentGrip named Apollo, Outreach and Clari as competitors.

Launch and early customers

The company emerged from stealth in February 2026 and has since brought hundreds of beta customers onto the platform, according to Built In and Pulse 2. None were named. Pulse 2 said general availability is expected soon, without giving a date.

Customers get white-glove onboarding and forward-deployed sales experts, Pulse 2 reported, and typically begin generating meetings and pipeline within days of implementation. ContentGrip said company-shared figures indicate seven-figure annual recurring revenue was added in each of the first three months after launch. It noted that it had not verified those numbers, so they should be read as company claims.

Business Insider, as relayed by Let's Data Science, reported that Monaco had no revenue in February and was adding more than $1m in revenue each month three months later. That figure is also a company claim and was not independently verified here.

What the money is for

The company said it will use the funding to scale the platform and expand its team. Blond said: "Since coming out of stealth, we've seen strong demand from the most promising startups." He added that customers are seeing real results.

In the press release, Blond said the investment is a clear validation of the momentum and impact the company is delivering. The company said the new money will be used to keep scaling the platform and the team, and to complete the move from public beta to general availability.

Benchmark's Altman, a former chief executive of Lattice who joined the firm earlier in 2026, will join Monaco's board, according to Business Insider.

Jack Altman, a general partner at Benchmark, said in a statement quoted by Pulse 2 that Monaco is being built by a team that deeply understands the problem and the customer.

The sources reviewed did not give a headcount, a founding year or the size and leads of earlier rounds.
