What OZi does
OZi offers more than 15,000 products for children aged 0 to 12 and promises delivery within 60 minutes. Entrepreneur India listed apparel, toys, baby care, school essentials and pharmacy items, and said the service also offers scheduled deliveries and round-the-clock availability. Inc42 said it delivers apparel, nappies, pharmacy items and toys. Entrepreneur India described the 15,000 products as curated.
The company operates in Gurugram and has recently expanded to Noida, Inc42 and Entrepreneur India reported. Inc42 named Bengaluru-based Peeko as a competitor in the baby category, alongside general quick-commerce platforms such as Zepto, Instamart, Blinkit and BigBasket.
Founder and earlier funding
OZi was founded in 2025 by Amit Sah, a serial entrepreneur who is chief executive, Inc42 and Entrepreneur India said. The company raised a $3.3m seed round in October 2025, led by Blume Ventures with Huddle Ventures, Zeropearl VC and Untitled Ventures participating, according to Entrepreneur India.
That means the new round came about five months after the seed. Together the two rounds add up to $9.5m, by this article's arithmetic rather than a figure in the sources. The reports did not give a headcount.
What the money is for
According to the company's statement, as carried by Outlook Business, the money will go toward deepening OZi's presence in Gurugram and the wider Delhi National Capital Region, strengthening its brand and customers' trust, investing in technology and operations, and expanding its curated product assortment.
Sah told Inc42: "Scale will be the natural outcome of solving convenience consistently for young parents." Madhur Makkar, a principal at RTP Global, praised the discipline and clarity with which Sah is building the business, and the early investment he has made in leadership, systems and capability.
The wider picture
Quick commerce in India has so far focused on groceries and everyday goods, and OZi is betting that parents buying for young children will pay for speed in a narrower category. The reports reviewed gave no figures for order volumes, revenue or customer numbers, so how far that bet has worked is not yet public.
The Series A is a regional expansion round rather than a national one. OZi said its focus is Gurugram and the NCR, and none of the sources mentioned plans for other Indian cities.
Inc42 and Entrepreneur India both described OZi as based in the Delhi NCR region, which takes in Gurugram and Noida.
