What Pee Safe sells
The company started with a toilet seat sanitiser, according to Business Today, and now sells toilet hygiene, feminine and intimate care, grooming and wellness products. Inc42 listed organic cotton tampons, breast pads, panty liners, intimate wash, wipes, maternity care products and anti-pollution dust masks.
Entrackr, citing TheKredible, described it as Gurugram-based. Vikas Bagaria and Rithish Kumar are named as founders; Inc42 said Bagaria founded it with Srijana Bagaria and that Kumar joined as a co-founder in 2017. The sources disagree on when the company was founded, giving 2013 and 2017, so no founding year is stated here.
Inc42 named Sirona, Sanfe, Nua Women, Plush, Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble as competitors, and cited a Global Market Insights report that put the global femtech market at $60.2bn in 2024, with a projected 16% annual growth rate over the next decade.
Size and reach
Business Today reported an annualised net revenue run rate of more than Rs 150 crore, according to the company, and said Pee Safe is present in more than 50,000 retail outlets across over 100 cities and exports to 23 countries.
Entrackr, citing TheKredible, reported revenue from operations of Rs 82 crore in the financial year 2025, up 46% from Rs 56 crore a year earlier. It reported a loss of Rs 4 crore, down 69% from Rs 13 crore. The company describes itself as profitable, which the reported loss does not match, and the article did not reconcile the two.
What the money is for
The company said it will expand its offline retail presence, strengthen brand-led marketing and grow faster on quick commerce and online marketplaces. Business Today added that it plans to deepen its reach in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
Kumar said: "This funding enables us to significantly deepen our offline distribution." Bagaria said Pee Safe was founded to address a deeply underserved women's health category and challenge long-standing taboos.
Business Today reported that the company's products now cover toilet hygiene, feminine and intimate care, grooming and wellness.
Who invested
OrbiMed's Dr Sunny Sharma and Sumona Chakraborty will join Pee Safe's board, according to Inc42 and Business Today. Business Today reported that Sharma, a senior managing director at OrbiMed Asia, said the firm was impressed by the brand's consumer loyalty and its potential to scale across large healthcare categories. Inc42 described OrbiMed as the backer of Netmeds.
None of the sources reviewed listed earlier funding rounds, a valuation or a headcount.
