Probook, a New York startup building an AI operating system for home services businesses, raised a $34m Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, Fortune reported on 23 June 2026. Sequoia Capital, which led an earlier $6m seed round, also took part in the Series A. Total funding is $40m. No valuation was disclosed.

The seed round had not been announced before. Fortune says Sequoia backed it in early 2025.

“Dispatch is the brain of every home service business.”George Eliadis, founder, Probook

What Probook does

Probook sells software to HVAC, plumbing and electrical contractors. It starts with dispatch, deciding which technician handles which job, and then adds call answering, job data clean-up and customer updates. Andreessen Horowitz's announcement describes it as expanding into intake, data clean-up, customer messaging and outbound work.

The company was started by George Eliadis, chief executive, Lewis Zhang, chief technology officer, and Ben Cervantez, co-founder, according to a16z. Eliadis worked in pressure washing as a teenager and spent a summer at TR Miller, an Illinois HVAC, plumbing and electrical company that became Probook's first customer.

Eliadis told Fortune: "Dispatch is the brain of every home service business." He added: "That's where customer experience is made or broken."

Customers and results

Fortune reports that a customer in Indiana with 14 locations and 260 technicians booked 2,542 jobs in its first month without human booking. It also reports that a Florida operator cut dispatchers from 22 to 10 and that a Kansas shop did the same and grew average job revenue by 20%. a16z describes the same Indiana customer, Summers Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, and says Del-Air roughly doubled the number of technicians per dispatcher. The customer results come from the companies involved.

a16z lists customers including TurnPoint Services, Master Trades Group, Del-Air, Peterman Brothers and Sila Services, and says Probook runs across hundreds of locations. Fortune says private equity-backed home service roll-ups are its most important current customer type.

Competition and investors

ServiceTitan, a public company with $960m in revenue according to Fortune, has its own AI scheduling product, and Probook is a ServiceTitan partner. a16z says Probook plugs into the systems customers already use rather than replacing them.

David Haber, an a16z general partner, called the opportunity "a years-old structural moat" in a written statement. Konstantine Buhler of Sequoia said that most founders building for the trades have never worked in them and that Eliadis has.

Fortune did not report a use of funds.

The a16z announcement says "Dispatch is the brain of the business" and describes Probook's approach as: "Humans handle the exceptions; the software handles the rest." The firm is also the source for the description of Eliadis's background, so Fortune and a16z give complementary accounts of the company.

The funding so far

The $34m Series A follows the $6m Sequoia-led seed. Fortune says Eliadis was the company's only salesperson until February 2026, which gives a sense of how recently it began selling at scale. Probook did not disclose revenue or headcount.
