BRKZ, a Riyadh company that runs a procurement platform for building materials, announced $31m in new capital on September 14, 2026. The package combined a $13m Series B equity round with $18m of growth debt.
The Series B was co-led by Wa'ed Ventures, the venture arm of Aramco, and 500 Global, with BECO Capital and Anb Seed Fund participating. Wamda reported that the equity round remained open to further strategic investors. The debt came from Stride Ventures and, according to Wamda, was drawn from a $30m venture debt facility announced earlier rather than being a new facility.
BRKZ said it has raised more than $70m in equity and debt since it started. It did not disclose a valuation.
“The past twelve months have reinforced why we built BRKZ.”Ibrahim Manna, Founder and CEO, BRKZ
What BRKZ does
Founded in 2022 by chief executive Ibrahim Manna, BRKZ connects contractors, businesses and factories with local and international suppliers of building and raw materials. Alongside the marketplace it handles sourcing, pricing, logistics and flexible payment terms.
According to Wamda, the platform serves more than 1,500 contracting companies and 150 building-materials factories, with about 2,100 suppliers. The company said it has sold more than SAR500m (about $133m) of materials and processed requests for quotation worth over SAR5.13bn (about $1.37bn). Projects it has supplied include the Red Sea Project, Diriyah, Qiddiya, ROSHN and King Salman Park.
BRKZ reported that revenue grew 2.5 times in 2025 and said it expects revenue to triple in 2026. It did not give revenue figures.
Wamda described the company's use of AI in some detail. Its pricing engine was trained on about 40,000 RFQs, and the company said 84% to 89% of its price predictions land within 5% of the final transacted price. An AI agent called Nusa reads bulk-cement delivery notes sent by transporters over WhatsApp, and about three-quarters are processed without manual correction.
Who invested
Wa'ed Ventures chief executive Anas Alghatani said the firm's continued investment reflected confidence in BRKZ's ability to change how building materials are bought. Amjad Ahmad, managing partner at 500 Global, called building-materials procurement one of the largest and least digitised categories in the Saudi economy. Khalid S. Alghamdi, chief executive of Anb Capital, also commented on the deal.
Earlier in 2026, BRKZ took an undisclosed strategic investment from SIC, the investment arm of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, Wamda reported.
What the money is for
BRKZ said it will build AI tools for quotations, pricing and fulfilment, integrate further along the supply chain from raw-material sourcing to last-mile delivery, and widen embedded financing for contractors and suppliers. It also plans to scale cross-border sourcing and trading, including supply corridors with China and India.
Enterprise AM, citing Forbes, reported that the debt will fund BRKZ's lending activity, while the equity is aimed at technology and expansion, including more procurement automation. IT Brief said the company plans to grow across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf.
The funding so far
Enterprise AM reported that BRKZ raised a $17m Series A in February 2025 and secured $30m in growth debt from Stride Ventures in October 2025. The $18m drawn in this round comes from that facility. With the Series B, the company's total funding across equity and debt exceeds $70m.
