Opply, a London company that sells AI software to run supply chains for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, has raised $7.5m. It announced the round on 21 October 2026.

Chalfen Ventures led the round, with Index Ventures, Anthemis, Entrepreneurs First, In This Together and Ventures Together also investing. Mike Chalfen, the founder of Chalfen Ventures, said in the release that he had backed the team at the start.

The company's release described the deal only as a funding round. UK Tech Investment News called it a Series A and put it at £5.6m. Tech.eu and The SaaS News also reported the raise. No valuation was disclosed.

“Our AI technology doesn't just tell brands what needs to be done. It does the work, managing everything from sourcing and procurement to payments and supply chains.”Helen Murphy, Co-Founder and CEO, Opply

What Opply does

Opply's main product, Opply Brain, combines specialised AI agents, the company's own data and a network of suppliers to carry out sourcing, procurement, financing, inventory, production planning and logistics. It is built for CPG brands and is focused first on food and beverage.

Tech.eu drew a line between Opply and tools that only analyse data or match buyers with suppliers: Opply's agents carry out tasks such as managing stock, coordinating production and overseeing deliveries. Chief executive Helen Murphy made the same point in the release, saying the software does the work itself rather than only telling brands what to do.

Opply was founded in 2021 by Murphy and Martin Postel, whom UK Tech Investment News identified as chief technology officer. It has offices in London and Chicago and works across the UK, Europe and North America.

Growth and customers

The company said its gross revenue rose 15-fold over 12 months, and that its US business, which it started with Chicago operations in 2025, grew 30-fold over the same period. It did not give revenue figures.

Customers named in the release include the UK drinks brand Agua de Madre and the US kombucha brand RMBR. Opply said customers had seen cost reductions of 40% and a 12-fold return on investment within 12 months, but did not say how those results were measured.

The release cited an Allied Market Research forecast that the global CPG market will reach $18.9tn by 2031. It also cited figures from the Consumer Brands Association and PwC that the US CPG sector contributes $2.5tn to GDP and supports 22.3 million jobs. Murphy said in the release that CPG supply chains had stayed fragmented and manual for too long.

What the money is for

According to Tech.eu, the money will help Opply bring its platform to more CPG businesses, from emerging brands to large international companies. Murphy said in the release that the funding gives the company a chance to take its model to many more businesses.

Chalfen said he believes Opply could become the operational backbone of a global industry worth trillions of dollars.

The company has not disclosed its headcount or details of any earlier funding rounds.
